We’re honored to highlight these servants who love the NCA students and families. Please pray with and for them as they strive to lead students into discipleship and boost their capacities to serve God.
I am Mr. Moberg. This is my first year teaching at NCA. This year I am praying that I will be able to make genuine connections with students and integrate into the NCA community. I am asking for prayer for myself as I am working diligently to create lesson plans and assignments that will further my students’ learning.
What does God lead you to pray as you read this verse?
The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. Proverbs 18:10
Please pray with this NCA leader who is serving our families:
I am Corbin VanDeWege and I’ve served on the NCA board for the past 4 years. I chose to serve because personally benefited from the foundation of a Christian education and I believe that God can use our school to prepare our children to further his Kingdom work here in Springfield and abroad. Please pray for us as a board that we have wisdom and discernment as we try to plan for the future during these uncertain times. Pray that our school leadership continues to keep God at the center of our decision making and seek his will rather than our own personal ambitions for our school. Please pray for our teachers and support staff that serve on the front lines, that they would show their love for God by loving their students and setting a Godly example for them every day. Finally pray for our students. They face challenges and pressures unlike any generation before them. Pray that they would pursue Christ and desire a strong relationship with him. Pray that they would have the courage to follow Christ instead of following the broad path that so many travel towards destruction. Thank you for taking time to pray for our school!
1 John 5:14 – This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
Please pray for this request sent in by our school family:
Pray that God puts a hedge of protection around NCA and each student, and pray for our security team to have wisdom and guidance from God on how to best keep our children safe. -Grace
With thanksgiving, we celebrate the ways the Lord is working in and through our school.
It is such a blessing to see kids from the youngest to the oldest praising the Lord in our chapel time!
